"In the fourteen years I have been presenting Kilroy I have discussed the topic of bullying many times. Over these years we've discussed many new Government initiatives, schools' anti-bullying policies and other strategies to stop bullying; yet it still goes on.What has distressed me most is the pain and hurt caused to those who have been bullied. Many of my guests say that they still suffer the lasting effects of the bullying well into adulthood. In many cases they have suffered in silence, sometimes sharing it for the first time on Kilroy. Here they realise that they are not the only ones to feel the way they do. Often they make friends with others on the programme and gain support by keeping in touch with them. That's why I think pupiline.net is such a great idea, and a wonderful resource for young people who need the support of others who understand exactly what they have been through. I'm sure that the website will be very popular"
