- absolutely fantastic
- still worth buying
- not bad
- definitely not one to buy
- who's bright idea was it to release this as a song?

Melanie C - I Turn To You
As those of you who have her album will probably know, this song is unlike anything else previously
heard or released from Melanie. This upbeat dance song is a good summer tune. I really like it and
although not always a fan of Spice Girls, I definitely approve of this song.

Lit - (I'm In) Over My Head
I love this song, plain and simple. It has a great verse and a brilliant chorus. In fact, I like
it so much that I'm going to see the film Titan A.E. just to find out where the song is played.
Top class song definitely.

Mandy Moore - I want to be with you
I'm not so sure about this song. I don't think she should branch out into the ballads after her
success with 'Candy'. Britney survived it when she released "Sometimes" but that was slightly
faster and still had Britney written all over it. I still like the song as lyrically it is a lovely
song - I just wish she wasn't singing it.

True Steppers ft. Dane Bowers and Victoria Beckham - Out of Your Mind
After listening to this song about a million times, it has grown on me. I think that it is a very
catchy tune but hopefully it won't go to number 1 as I think that Britney's song is better. For her
debut tune, Victoria has chosen a good group to sing with and it is a good dance song.

Album: Ronan Keating - Ronan
When it comes to Ronan, I am slightly biased but nevertheless I feel that this is one of the best
albums I have. The album begins with 'Life is a Rollercoaster' which as we all know is a very
catchy and upbeat song. This is one of 7 upbeat songs and of course the rest are 7 lovely
ballads. My favourite song is 'The Way You Make Me Feel'. The lyrics are beautiful and the song
is just brilliant. This accompanied by Ronan's voice is just lovely. The only song that I'm not
partial to is 'Heal Me'. It sounds like some kind of '80's techno' song. I don't know what he was
trying to do with that but I dare say after listening to it another 5 times I'll love it. My
favourite lyrics, well the lyrics that make me laugh are in 'Addicted' when Ronan says that he's a
love junkie. I thought that was an interesting way of putting it. From listening to a lot of
country music (my dad's a big fan of John Michael Montgomery) the country influence is evident
in some of the songs especially 'Once Upon A Lifetime' which is the last track on the album. In
a large number of the tracks on this album, Ronan has taken after the Corrs and gone back to his
roots. The traditional Irish instruments can be heard which compliment Ronan's gorgeous Irish
voice. After listening to this album, I'm glad I'm going to the concert (3 rows from the front in
November).
