which scooter?In Australia there are two crazes on at the moment- Micro scooters, and Motor Scooters. In this review, I work out which scooter is the best buy out of the two.Key ***** As good as it gets **** Very Good *** Middle of the range ** Not Good * Worse than bad Portability Micro Scooter: ***** The Micro Scooter can be taken anywhere. It folds up so small that it can fit into a backpack. It is very light and if you aren't riding it you can easily carry it. Motor Scooter: *** The Motor Scooter can be riden in many different places, although it is designed for the road. You can get cross-country motor scooters which can go just about anywhere. Motor scooters do fold up but are a lot heavier than micro scooters and are hard to carry. Looks Micro Scooter: ***** One of the best things about micro scooters is their looks. They look great, no matter what type you get. The way they are so small and silver makes them look like something from the future. Motor Scooter: *** Motor Scooters do look good, except the petrol tank and engine on them do make them a bit ugly. But I suppose they are called motor scooters. Speed Micro Scooter: **** Because they are so light and small, you can get the micro scooters up to a quite resonable speed, especially if your on a smooth surface. Motor Scooter: ***** Becaus Motor Scooters obviously have a motor, they can get up to a high speed without any effort. Most motor scooters have a maximum speed of around 30 kilometres an hour. Price Micro Scooter: **** Micro scooters range in price from $120 to $300 (I don't know how much they cost in English pounds) in Australia which is pretty reasonable for what they are. Motor Scooter: *** In Australia, Motor scooters cost around $1300. Although they have motors & everything, I think they are a bit over priced. |

Micro Scooter: 18/20The Micro Scooter got 18 starts out of a possible 20 which I think is about right. They are a great product and is as cool as things get. |
Motor Scooter: 14/20The motor scooter received 14 out of 20 stars which I think is also about right. They are a good product and if the micro scooters and come out when they did, they would be even more popular, but I don't think they have what it takes to win the "What's Cool In Oz Award"!
