What's cool for American girls

This is your guide to most of what girls in America dig right now.

Britney's new album
Brit's new album, "Oops... i did it again" is doing well in the US at the mo', with thousands, maybe millions of American girls idolising Britney. She's just finished her huge US tour, which attracted crowds of up to 18,000 people a show. The album contains girl-power tracks like "don't go knockin' on my door" and the title track, "Oops... i did it again". It also has a remake of the Rolling Stones track, "i can't get no satisfaction". In other words, it's no wonder Britney is one of the most popular female artists in the US at the mo'.

Shopping malls
We all know that shopping malls have been popular with US teens for years now, you can't watch an American high school tv show without seeing at least one trip to the mall. All over the USA, malls are crammed with kids and high-schoolers hanging out.

Mobile phones
It seems that mobiles and are just as popular in the US as they are over in the UK. With thousands of the richer population of teens and pre-teens whipping out nokias. And there's no doubt about it, mobiles are v.cool.

Chat rooms
Loads of girls in the US are now logging on and chatting to people across the world. And with chatrooms for almost any subject you can think of, it's getting more and more popular to log on.
(note: always be careful when you chat - never give out ANY personal details.)
